LAHORE (92 News) – The flight operation was resumed at the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore on Sunday. According to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), flight operations resumed at 6am on Sunday. All airlines have been notified about the resumption of flight operations; aviation authority added. ANF staff was also reached the airport. Earlier, the flight operation was resumed at Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta. Sources said that the decision to open the airports of Lahore, Sialkot, Faisalabad and Multan will be made later on. In view of the prevailing tensions between Pakistan and India, Pakistani airspace had been closed till Friday noon. All the domestic and international travelers had notified in this regard requesting anonymity. The Civil Aviation Authority had also informed the International Air Transport Association (IATA) headquarters about it.
