Flights delayed & cancelled, Motorway (M1) closed due to fog

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The authorities closed Motorway (M1) from Islamabad to Peshawar for traffic due to dense fog. Dense fog has also engulfed all national highways. Owing to fog traffic flow was badly affected in Hafizabad, Gujrat, Jalalpur Bhattian and other areas. Meanwhile, several flights were delayed and cancelled due to fog at Allama Iqbal International Airport. Jeddah-bound (PK-746), Karachi-bound (PK-311) and Lahore Karachi (PK-312) were cancelled due to fog. Dubai-bound (PK-203), Jeddah-bound (G9-821), Lahore-Karachi (IR-523), Lahore-Islamabad (PK-652), Lahore-Sharjah (PK-209), Lahore-Doha (PK-289), Lahore-Paris (PK-733), Lahore-Damam, Lahore-Karachi (ER-523), Mashahad-bound (S-158), Lahore-Quetta (PK-629) and Lahore-Masqat (342) were delayed.
