Flood hits Ghotki, Muzaffargarh villages; Death toll reaches seven

MULTAN (92 News) - Devastation caused by floods continued on Wednesday when flood water entered villages of Muzaffargarh and Ghotiki. Villagers had to face extreme problems with hundreds besieged on their rooftops. Boatmen were seen charging double the usual amount to carry passengers. The death toll as a result of the floods reached seven when a boy was washed away by the flood torrent. Meanwhile, life remained paralyzed in Chitral where the floods have wrecked havoc, collapsing bridges and washing away main segments of roads.
