ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Flour Mills Association has given the deadline until Monday for the fulfillment of their demands.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, Pakistan Flour Mills Association chairman Tahir Hanif said that the condition of getting 25 whear quota from other districts should be abolished.

He said that the flour mills will neither get wheat from the official quota nor an agreement will be made with them. "Prices of a 20kg flour bag will also be reviewed afresh," he added.

Tahir Hanif threatened to observe a strike from Tuesday if their demands were not fulfilled. He said that flour is not available at the government rate due to a decrease in the wheat quota.

Asim Raza said that the pressure had increased on the mill owners for unavailability of flour at the government rate.
