Flour price touches Rs135 per kg in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) - The flour price has touched Rs135 per kg in the provincial capital, making it impossible for the poor to take two-time meal.

In Multan, the price of a 15kg flour bag has reached Rs1,700 while one kilogram of flour is available at Rs127.

In several areas of Southern Punjab, the per maund price of wheat has reached at Rs3,700. As a result, the flour price also went out of control, which is being sold at Rs127-130 per kg in Khanewal, Lodhran and Bahawalpur.

In Peshawar, a 20kg flour bag has increased by Rs100 during the last two weeks. On the other hand, a 20kg fine flour is being sold at Rs2,580.

In Balochistan, a 20kg flour bag has been increased by Rs200 and is being sold at Rs2,400.
