WASHINGTON (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday visited White House and held meetings with US high-ranking officials.
He also had an important meeting with US National Security Adviser John Bolton. Both discussed the regional security in detail. They discussed Pakistan-US bilateral relations and regional situation in South Asia.
FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi met Senator Lindsey Graham. They discussed bilateral relations and situation in Afghanistan.
The US senator said he had personally seen the progress Pakistan had made in the erstwhile tribal areas during his last visit to the region and looked forward to leading a delegation to Pakistan soon.
Later, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi met Senator Cory Booker. They discussed bilateral relations and the regional situation.
The senator said the change in Pakistan had given new hope for peace in the region.
He will also meet US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at 11pm.
