FM Qureshi offers prayers for Nawaz Sharif’s rehabilitation

MULTAN (92 News) – Referring former premier Nawaz Sharif’s ailment, Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi offered prayers for his rehabilitation. Speaking to the journalists in Multan, FM Qureshi said that Nawaz Sharif should go abroad for better treatment. “The government has created no impediments for Nawaz Sharif in going abroad,” he added. The minister said that Nawaz Sharif can go anywhere he wants for his treatment. He also informed that the government provided the PML-N quid with the best medical treatment.
Babri Masjid verdict unjust
The foreign minister said that Babri Masjid verdict recently announced by the Indian Supreme Court in the favour of Hindus. He said that the judgment by the Indian apex court was not based on Justice, according to him. Qureshi also said that the lives of minority communities in India was becoming doubly difficult given the religiously motivated actions which were aggressively being undertaken by state institutes and the government of India which labeled itself a secular democracy.
Pakistan strongly opposed verdict of India’s SC
FM Qureshi reiterated that Pakistan strongly opposed the verdict of India’s Supreme Court over the Babri Masjid debacle. “The verdict is rife with contradictions, Internet is being suspended in Muslim majority areas, Kashmir is under siege since 97 days now,” FM Qureshi said. “We tried to put forth a message of peace and tranquility by opening the Kartarpur Corridor whereas India is busy defacing the efforts through enforcement of their black laws,” he added. Commenting on the ongoing Azadi March sit-in, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that holding a sit-in is the right of every political party. He added that the government has provided the protesters with all sort of facilities. Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) senior leader Javed Hashmi said all differences should be forgotten on the occasion of Eid Millad-un-Nabi (SAW). “We are all together on the occasion of the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH),” he added. Referring to JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the PML-N leader also said that the negotiation with the JUI-F chief will take right directions. “May Allah give Muslims victory over Kashmir issue,” he prayed for Kashmiri people.
