FM Qureshi reaffirms Pakistan's commitment to further deepen and strengthen Pakistan-China All Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership
BEIJING (92 News) –Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to further deepen and strengthen Pakistan-China All Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi was appreciative of Chinese consistent support to Pakistan's sovereignty, territorial integrity, political stability and socio-economic development. Talking to the Chinese counterpart, Shah Mahmood Qureshi reiterated Pakistan's support to One China Policy and to the core Chinese interests. “Friendship with China is the cornerstone of Pakistan's foreign policy.”
On the other hand, China has expressed readiness to roll-over commercial loans of Pakistan. This was conveyed by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during talks with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi at the Chinese city Huangshan.
Later in a video message, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that an announcement about the roll-over of these loans will be made after completion of procedural requirements by the concerned authorities.
Both the Foreign Ministers agreed that quality development of second phase of the CPEC and bilateral cooperation in areas such as industries, agriculture and information technology is manifestation of our multidimensional partnership.
