ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that a human tragedy has emerged in Indian Occupied Kashmir. Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that they were only pointing out ground realities. “The issue is not restricted to the governments. It has gone to public representatives,” he said. Qureshi said that India’s August 5 step had been rejected by all forces in Kashmir. “Expectations of the people in Occupied Kashmir are still linked with Pakistan. They are not disappointed with Pakistan. Today Pakistan is with the Occupied Kashmir,” he said. He said that Kashmiris are a sensible nation and understand the fact with which leader they are dealing. “We raised the issue of the IOJ&K with the Saudi foreign minister. The US president has expressed its concern over the Kashmir issue, India is not cooperating with anyone and telling a lie with the world. The Kashmiris are looking towards Pakistan,” he said. Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that 11 states are strongly protesting against the controversial citizenship law. “Modi has defaced the secular image of India,” he said. He announced to launch a vigorous campaign to highlight the Kashmir issue. “A cultural show will be held on January 27. “Picture exhibitions will be held across country on January 28. A seminar will be held in Islamabad on January 30. Kashmir Committee Chairman Fakhar Imam will hold a press conference on January 31. Ceremonies will be held at Convention Centre on February 3 and Aiwan-e-Sadr on February 4. Rallies will be taken out on February 5. In addition, Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and a human chain will be formed the same day,” he said.
