ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has written a letter to President United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and UN Secretary General about HR violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

In his letter, Shah Mahmood Qureshi has expressed grave concern on extra-judicial killings, enforced disappearances and indiscriminate use of pellet guns in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Foreign Minister has regretted India’s continued denial of the right of self-determination to the people of occupied territory for more than seven decades.

He has recalled that India’s illegal and unilateral actions of 5 August 2019, including the ongoing campaign to change the demographic structure of the occupied territory, are in blatant violation of the UNSC resolutions and international law, especially the 4th Geneva Convention.
