ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the opposition should not blackmail the government over legislation. Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he said that the opposition loves its interests. "The accountability process will become meaningless if we accept their demands," he said. The minister said that he had sung a 'pakka raag', not a Qawwali for the opposition in the National Assembly. "Imran Khan has been singing this 'pakka raag' for the last 24 years. We will also hold the corrupt elements tightly," he said. He said that the opposition is creating hurdles in the way of the FATF under the cover of the NAB laws. Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar said that two champions of corruption surfaced in the past. "There is a TT Sharif Family along with Fake Accounts Champion Family," he maintained. He said that the government is ready to sit with the government. "But we cannot accept their proposals," he said. PTI leader Malaika said that the public representatives should make decisions in a better way. "The people should not lose confidence in the parliament. We request the opposition to keep the public interests supreme," he said.
