ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi left for the USA to attend a meeting of the United Nations General Assembly at 3am on Saturday. He will also attend a program organized by the Pakistani community in Washington. After his two-day stay in Washington, he will leave for New York. He will attend the UNGA meeting starting from September 24. Later, he will attend a meeting of the foreign ministers of the SAARC countries on September 26. On September 29, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will address the New York General Assembly. He will hold meetings with his counterparts from China, Russia, Turkey and Middle East countries on the sidelines of the UNGA. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will also meet his US counterpart Mike Pompeo in Washington after October 1. Pompeo had invited Shah Mahmood Qureshi during his visit to Pakistan. He will return to Pakistan on October 3.
