FM urges opposition to support govt against enemies

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Wednesday urged the nation to unite against India’s nefarious designs against Pakistan.

In a statement, FM Qureshi said that India wanted to destabilize Pakistan and planning a false flag operation against the country. "India’s aggressive designs against Pakistan had been exposed," he added. He urged the opposition to support the government against enemy.

The minister said that Pakistan achieved great success in the war against terrorism. “Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared for a befitting response to any aggression or misadventure by the enemies,” he added.

On the other hand, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said that terrorist attack is an undeclared war against Pakistan."The attack is an attempt to impede development in the region, but the country will be defeated by the enemy," he added.

Terrorist fire raid on Frontier Corps Balochistan post in Sharig, Harnai, Balochistan late last night.

 According to the Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR), during intense exchange of fire, seven brave soldiers embraced martyrdom while repulsing raiding terrorists.

Area has been cordoned off and escape routes have been blocked to apprehend fleeing miscreants. A large scale search and clearance operation is in progress.

The ISPR spokesperson also said such cowardly acts by inimical elements backed by anti state forces will not be allowed to sabotage hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan.

He further said that security forces are determined to thwart their nefarious designs at all costs.
