FO claims involvement of 8 Indian diplomats, staff in subversive activities in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Foreign Office has revealed that eight Indian diplomats and staff belonging to the Indian intelligence agencies RAW and Intelligence Bureau have been found involved in subversive activities in Pakistan under the garb of diplomatic assignments. This was stated by Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria at his weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday. He said these include RAW's operatives Rajesh Kumar Agnihotri, Commercial Counsellor, Anurag Singh 1st Commercial Secretary, Amerdeep Singh Bhatti Visa Attache, Dharmendra Sodhi, Staff Members Vijay Kumar Verma and Madhavan Nanda Kumar. Indian IB’s operatives are: Balbir Singh, 1st Press and Information Secretary, and Jayabalan Senthil, Assistant Personnel Welfare Officer. The spokesman said Surjeet Singh who was declared Persona non-grata a few days back was also an IB operative working under Balbir Singh. He said activities of these operatives included espionage, subversion and supporting of terrorist activities in Balochistan and Sindh, especially Karachi, sabotage CPEC, and fuel instability in the two provinces and create unrest in GB.  He said they also involved to damage Pakistan-Afghanistan relations with a variety of activities, infiltrate Indian agents into social, media and political circles to propaganda purposes and activities detrimental to Pakistan’s interests.  They also involved in handle factions of TTP, instigate religious minorities, fuel sectarianism and malign Pakistan with propaganda on human rights issues. He said Pakistan is disappointed that India has not only been found involved in promoting terrorist activities and terror financing as was disclosed by Kulbhushan Yadav but India has also been using its diplomatic mission for its nefarious designs. To a question, Nafees Zakaria said this matter is under consideration with the concerned authorities who will determine the next course of action. Answering a question, he said the case of Kulbhushan Yadav is under investigation. He said that as dossier in this regard will be presented to the international community and UN secretary general at appropriate time. The spokesman said Pakistan has called back six members working in Indian High Commission because they are unable to perform their duties after India leveled baseless allegations on them. He said Indian occupation forces continue killing defenseless Kashmiris, blinding Kashmiri youth, including minors and constantly committing crimes against humanity for four months now. They are desperate to hide their crimes against humanity from the international community’s scrutiny, he said. He said in desperation, they have turned their guns on innocent civilians across the Line of Control in AJK and across Working Boundary in Pakistani territory. The Indian unprovoked firing has taken a huge toll on innocent civilians. He said Pakistan's efforts to highlight Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir are yielding results.  He said there is growing demand from the international community for sending fact finding mission to Indian Occupied Kashmir. Replying to a question, he said we are keenly watching US elections. He said Pakistan has longstanding relations with US in diverse fields. He hoped that whatever administration came to power in US, institutionalized mechanism will play its role. To a question, he said Pakistan and Iran are in contact with each other to take forward the Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline. He said Pakistan remains committed to peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan.
