Foreign Office rejects speculations about FM Qureshi's visit to Kabul

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry has rejected speculations about Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi's visit to Kabul.

Afghan media have claimed that Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will visit Afghanistan soon, while Foreign Office spokesman said that no visit of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to Kabul is scheduled, any speculation about his visit to Kabul is baseless.

On the other hand, Pakistan is working tirelessly for lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan. The Foreign Minister's visit to Afghanistan's neighboring countries has been finalized. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will leave for a four-nation tour on August 25.

Foreign Minister will pay important visits to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran. The top leadership of the four countries will discuss the situation in Afghanistan, peaceful political settlement, lasting peace and stability.
