Foolproof security arrangements for Muharram

LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab police have prepared a plan to provide foolproof security during Muharram. A spokesman for the Punjab police said that 200,000 cops will perform security duty during Muharram across Punjab. He said that three-layer security will be provided for big and sensitive processions. The spokesman said that the implementation of the ban on loudspeakers would be implemented at all costs. He said that RPOs and DPOs will monitor the big processions and Majalis. “The cops on duty will be issued special security passes. The video of all big processions and Majalis will be made,” the spokesman said.
