ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior Rehman Malik has revealed that two foreign embassies are involved in tapping phones of several Cabinet members. Rehman Malik revealed surprising facts during a meeting of Senate Standing Committee on Interior those foreign embassies were also tapping Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari along with his phones. “Once monitoring was so intense that the cabinet meeting had to be postponed,” he added. Rehmad Malik said they were informed that the signals were coming from Diplomatic Enclave. Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Ismail Shah has said that it is impossible to stop latest technology. “Roaming service with Afghanistan is banned but mobile phones are working due to the power of signals,” he said. Ismail Shah said they will discuss this issue with Afghan authorities after Eid to reduce the power of signals.
