Foreign funding and Broadsheet exposed govt, says Rana Sanaullah

LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said that the foreign funding case and Broadsheet issue had exposed the government.

Talking to the media after appearing in an anti-narcotics court on Saturday, he said that the time to hold the government accountable had come and they will have to be answerable for each penny and each act. "The thief wailing about the theft has been caught. The PTI got money from Israeli lobby and Indian firms. Foreign funding money was used against the country," he added.

The PML-N leader said that they had confessed to their crime and the chief election commissioner had no option except to punish them. "The Broadsheet owner is also a thief and is in collusion with them," he added.

Rana Sanaullah said that the no-confidence motion is also an option that can be used against them. He said that sugar, flour and medicines had disappeared from the country.

During the hearing, copies of the statements of witnesses had been provided to the counsels who objected to the condition of the copies.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing till February 4.
