Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif reaches US

WASHINGTON (92 News) – Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif has on Wednesday arrived at Washington on a three-day visit to the US.
During the visit, Khawaja Asif will hold talks with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to discuss matters pertaining to new US policy on Afghanistan and South Asia.
The foreign minister is also scheduled to meet US National Security Advisor H R McMaster.
The visit indicates a gradual resumption of talks between the two countries that was paused by Pakistan after Trump announced his South Asia policy.
