MULTAN (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the role will continue for peace and stability in Afghanistan.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that entire process would benefit from the peace process. "I have discussed different matters in detail with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken," he added.

He said that the opposition does not want to resign. "The suitable time for resignations is 2023. Yousaf Raza Gillani cannot be elected as senator without bargaining in Punjab," he said.

He also predicted an increase in investment in the country. "We assumed the power when our country was on the brink of bankruptcy," he added.

The minister said that the previous government had stabilized the dollar in an artificial manner. "The government is exposing mafias. Inquiries are going on against the mafias and there will be no leniency towards them," he declared.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that India wants to destabilize Pakistan. "No demand has been made for handing over Omer Sheikh," he added.
