ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ch Nisar has said that foreign NGOs cannot collect funds without permission of the government. Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that only the Interior Ministry will have the right to register a foreign NGO. He said that the policy with regard to computerized national identity cards (CNICs), passports and visas would be made online at the earliest. The minister said that all the process would be transparent and NGOs could not raise objections. “Whatever happening in Afghanistan is theirs’ problem. Pakistan is blamed if someone even sniffs in Afghanistan,” he said, adding that they were not watchmen of Afghanistan. Ch Nisar said that there would be no permission to hold a meeting at D Chowk. He claimed that the PML-N government had given the National Action Plan. “Our good deeds are not mentioned,” he added.
