RIYADH (92 News) – The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that foreigners on family visit visas will not be able to perform Hajj.

One million pilgrims will enjoy the blessings of Hajj this year after a two-year Corona ban. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has started receiving Hajj applications from Pakistan and around the world. Under the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's new regulations this year, Hajj will only be allowed on a Hajj visa or a formal residence visa.

According to the announcement, foreigners on family visit visas will not be able to perform Hajj. Hajj visa or formal residence visa will be required to perform Hajj this year. The ministry said that the rules of Hajj would be announced under the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

On the other hand, the procedure for applying for Hajj season 2022 from within the country will be announced soon.

The ministry indicated that Hajj application will be received through its website. There is a platform for applying for Hajj in Saudi Arabia. Hajj will not be allowed in any unauthorized manner.
