ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Responding to alleged video related to accountability court judge Arshad Malik released by PML-N leadership, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Fridous Ashiq Awan on Saturday said that the forensic audit will clear the credibility of the video. Addressing a press conference – following to Maryam Nawaz presser – Fridous Ashiq Awan said that the government will conduct a forensic audit of alleged video. She suggested Maryam to approach the court if she had enough evidences against the accountability court judge rather than showing the video on media. The special assistant termed that Maryam Safdar released video with the name of Nasir Butt who is a criminal and close aide of Nawaz Sharif. She added that it was necessary to expose the real face of Nasir Butt who is facing several criminal charges in Pakistan. She said that Nasir Butt fled away to London after killing five persons under the 302 case. Firdous Ahsiq Awan termed the motives of Maryam Nawaz’s press conference just selling the controversial video to media outlets and collecting the sympathies. The PTI leader also said that they should see their faces themselves before alleging others, adding that the nation already had heard the audio tape of Justice Qayyum and Shehbaz Sharif’s telephonic conversations. She further said that Maryam Safdar tried to mislead the aware masses.
Earlier today, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz demanded the acquittal of incarcerated former premier Nawaz Sharif by portraying unclear video as ‘solid evidences’ of his innocence. Addressing a press conference along with PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif and senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Maryam demanded acquittal of Nawaz Sharif on the basis of evidences shown in alleged video, adding that she respects every institution of Pakistan.
The daughter of Nawaz Sharif released alleged video with unclear audio, claiming, “We have solid evidences that Nawaz was victimized by the courts in fake corruption cases.” It is pertinent to mention here that Maryam showed journalists an alleged fabricated video of accountability court judge Arshad Malik claiming the judge was forced to give verdict against Nawaz Sharif in Al-Azizia reference case.
