Former AJK president and PM Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan passes away

KOTLI (92 News) – Former president and prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan has passed away on Saturday.

He was reportedly hospitalised and under treatment for a heart ailment.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan.

In a condolence message, he said that Sardar Sikandar Hayat as the Prime Minister and President of Azad Kashmir, raised his voice for the rights of Jammu and Kashmir and against the state barbarism of India.

He said that his politics was always based on principles and truth. He prayed for higher ranks for departed soul.
