KARACHI (92 News) – Former federal minister Firdous Ashiq Awan has resigned from the slot of the Punjab Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) vice-president. Speaking at meet-the-press at Karachi Press Club on Friday, she said that the party and country are being destroyed to save the Sindh government. “The failures of the Sindh government have tarnished the image of the PPP. Now it will be treated through a surgery,” she maintained. Criticizing the party, she said that there is need to reorganize the party.
