Former national cricketers saddened by cancellation of New Zealand, England tours

KARACHI (92 News) – Former national cricketers have expressed grief over the cancellation of teh New Zealand and England tours.

Former captain Moeen Khan said that they were disappointed at the decisions of the New Zealand and England Cricket Boards not to play in Pakistan.

"The PCB should try to find out an alternate way for continuity of cricket in Pakistan. However, the PCB has made hectic efforts for restoration of cricket in Pakistan," he added.

Wasim Akram said that people should support the team selected for the Twenty20 Cup.

Former captain Rashid Latif said that Pakistan is a safe country for cricket. "The PCB should again contact the New Zealand Cricket Board," he added.
