Former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali passes away
He was being treated at Armed Forces Institute Cardiology and National Institute of Heart Diseases (AFIC-NIHD) after suffering a stroke a few days back. He had been on the ventilator for few days back.
He body will be shifted to his ancestral area Rojhan Jamali by helicopter on Thursday morning.
Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali was the 15th prime minister from November 23, 2002 to June 26, 2004. He also served as president of the Pakistan Hockey Federation.
Meanwhile, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed grief over the sad demise of former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali. “May Allah bless his soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, Ameen”, he said.
