Former SP Naeem Kakar shot dead in Quetta

QUETTA (92 News) – Unknown gunmen shot dead former SP Naeem Kakar in Rahim Colony on Saturday. He was father of Gawalmandi SHO Nisar Ahmed. DIG Abdur Razzaq Cheema said that former SP was coming to his house after offering Isha prayers when unknown bikers opened fire on him. He was seriously injured and taken to CMH Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. After the incident, personnel of police, FC and other law enforcement agencies reached the spot and started investigations after cordoning off the area. The police have recovered shells of a 12-bore pistol. The same weapon was used in attacks on police officers. Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal has condemned the incident and sought the report.
