Four banned outfit terrorists killed in Sheikhupura

SHEIKHUPURA (92 News) – At least four terrorists of a banned outfit were killed in an encounter with the Counter Terrorism Department in Sheikhupura on Wednesday. As per details, on a tip off the presence of terrorists in the area, the CTD carried out a raid at Sheikhupura bypass and gunned down four terrorists. The slain terrorists were wanted to Punjab Police in more than 300 murder cases. The killed terrorists include Rizwan alias Asif Chotu, Dr Shakir alias Ali Sufiyan and Noorul Ameen. Rizwan alias Asif Chotu was the ringleader of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) who was involved in more than 300 murder cases, while Dr Shakir alias Ali Sufiyan was ameer LeJ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who was involved in more than 50 murder cases. The law enforcers have also recovered weapons including two Kalashnikovs, two pistols, three kg explosive material, detonators, thousands of rounds and maps of sensitive installations from the possession of slain terrorists.
