Four citizens injured in Indian unprovoked ceasefire violations along LOC

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Four citizens, including a 15-year-old girl, were injured in Indian ceasefire violations (CFVs) in Sharda, Dhudnial and Shahkot sectors along the Line of Control (LoC). According to a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday, Indian troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violations during last 24 hours using artillery and heavy mortars in Sharda, Dhudnial and Shahkot sectors along LOC. The Indian troops deliberately targeted civilian population. Owing to to Indian Army’s indiscriminate fire of heavy weapons at Bessan Wali and Chhari villages, four innocent civilians sustained serious injuries. The injured have been shifted to hospital. The Pakistan Army troops responded effectively with matching calibre and targeted those Indian Army posts which initiated fire. In 2020, Indian Army committed 708 ceasefire violations and as a result, two citizens embraced martyrdom while 42 sustained injuries.
