Four dead in Mingora roof collapse
MINGORA /FAISALABAD (92 News) – Four persons including women and children died and two seriously injured when roof of a house collapsed due to rain in Mingora.
According to the reports, four people lost their lives, when a roof of their house collapsed in Mingora, Swat. The bodies were moved to the nearby medical facility by the rescue teams.
In a separate incident, four people were injured in roof collapse incident in Faisalabad while two injured in serious condition. All the wounded persons have been shifted to the DHQ hospital.
Earlier, two people were killed after the roof of a house collapsed in Lahore’s Samanabad.
According to the rescue officials, five people, including a seven-year-old girl and two men, have been rescued from the debris. Seventy-five-year-old Muhammad Shareef died in the accident.
As per the neighbours, one woman and two children are still trapped. An operation is under way to rescue them. Three families lived in the house on the upper floors of the building, while there were shops on the ground floor.
