LAHORE (92 News) - Four people including a child were killed and six others were wounded in two road accidents in Islamabad and Pakpattan on late Saturday and early Sunday, police and rescuers said.

Three car occupiers lost their lives and another suffered injuries after a car they were riding rammed into a tree on a green belt on Islamabad Expressway near Shakkar Paryan.

The driver apparently speeding when he lost control over steering. The dead and injured were shifted to PIMS hospital.

Police said the bodies of young men could not be identified.

In another incident, a child died and five others including two children and a woman suffered multiple injuries after a car they were riding struck a harvester on Arifwala Road in Pakpattan in early hours of Sunday.

The family belonging to Dewan family of Baba Fareed Ganj Shakkar's shrine was heading to Arifwala at the time of the incident.

The incident that happened near Saleem Kot Jhaal, left 12-year-old son of Dewan Ali Bakhtiar Chishti and his mother, wife and other children injured.

Rescue 1122 ambulances rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to a local hospital.
