Four injured in explosives blast outside Pakistan's consulate in Jalalabad

JALAABAD (92 News) - Four people were injured after an explosive device went off outside Pakistan's Consulate General in Jalalabad on Sunday. An IED exploded close to the holding area of the consulate exploded in late hours of Sunday. The consulate's staff remained unhurt, Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesman confirmed in a tweet. The spokesperson said we are in contact with Afghan authorities to ensure strengthened security for Consulate General's premises and personnel.
