Four killed, 17 injured in school rickshaw -trailer collision in Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR (92 News) – At least four children were killed and 17 others injured when a school rickshaw collided with a trailer on Klanchwala Road near Bahawalpur on Saturday.

Four children including Nawaz and Wasim were killed and 13 others were injured in the accident. The dead children range in age from 5 to 13 years.

According to rescue sources, the mishap took place due to fog. Rescue teams shifted the bodies and injured children to the hospital.

Earlier, six people were killed and over 40 injured in a collision between two buses at Adda Asrani, Khairpur Tamewali. The deceased were identified as ASI Ghulam Shabbir, Fayyaz Khan from Bahawalpur, Yahya Khan from Bahawalpur, Bilal from Khichiwala, Shabbir Shah from Bahawalpur, Mehnga from Morr Khunda and Muhammad Ashraf.
