Four killed, 12 injured in Barkhan blast

QUETTA (92 News) - Four people died and twelve were injured as a result of an explosion in Barkhan area of Balochistan.

The blast took place in Rakhine Bazar. All the injured were shifted to the hospital. An emergency was declared in the hospital. According to the police, several vehicles, motorcycles and shops were also damaged. 

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari condemned the blast in Barkhan. expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the families of the deceased citizens.

Bilawal Bhutto said that Pakistan is committed to punish those who target innocent citizens. Terrorists have no religion or nation. They are brutal beasts in human form.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah also strongly condemned the Barkhan blast. expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives.

The Federal Interior Minister has also called for a report on the blast.

Rana Sanaullah said that terrorists are enemies of peace and development in Balochistan. Terrorists will never succeed in their nefarious goals.

Balochistan CM Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo condemned the Rakhni blast and said that the ambitions of anti-national elements will not be allowed to succeed. Those who shed the blood of innocent people are enemies of humanity. A more effective strategy against terrorism will be adopted.

The chief minister directed the home department and the police to re-evaluate the security plan in the context of the recent incidents of terrorism. He said that the protection of life and property of the people and the establishment of lasting peace should be ensured in every case.

Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo directed to provide the best treatment facilities to the injured of the explosion.
