Four more employees of KPK Health Dept diagnosed with COVID-19

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Four more employees of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department were diagnosed with coronavirus. Two female medical officers and a laboratory technician of Hayatabad Medical Complex tested positive for coronavirus. Meanwhile, doctors and staffers working in the ward were also quarantined. Khalid, a male nurse, also tested positive for coronavirus in Lower Dir. Meanwhile on Friday,  the number of confirmed coronavirus cases across the country jumped to 17,611 . According to the National Command and Operation Center, there are 6,340 cases in Punjab, 6,675 in Sindh, 2,799 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,049 in Balochistan, 339 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 343 in Islamabad Capital Territory and 66 in Azad Kashmir. As many as 4,315 patients have so far recovered while the death toll from the virus stands at 385 with 24 new deaths and 990 new cases reported during the last 24 hours. On the other hand, 182,131 tests have been conducted since the outbreak of the pandemic, with 7,971 conducted during the last 24 hours.
