Four more minors die of malnutrition in Thar, toll rises to 158

THARPARKAR (92 News) – At least four more minors have on Thursday fell prey to the famine in drought-hit Tharparkar, taking the death toll 158.

As per details, hundreds of children are under treatment in different hospitals as lack of government response and health care facilities have triggered a wave of deaths in Thar.

The Sindh government is resorting to mere announcements while death toll in Tharparkar is rising as four more minors died at Civil Hospital Mithi.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had formed a committee last month comprising of Information Adviser Maula Bux Chandio and Food Minister Nasir Shah to look into the situation of Thar but to no avail.
