Four of a family suffocated to death in Lahore house fire

LAHORE (92 News) – Four of a family were suffocated to death when a house caught fire on Wahdat Road on Thursday.

The fire erupted due to a heater working in a shed. The family members took refuge in the kitchen. But they were suffocated to death.

The deceased include 52-year-old Rukhsana, eight-year-old Abeera, five-year-old Hadi and one-year-old Hanan.

DSP Muhammad Ashfaq said that the rescue teams reached the spot after soon getting information and extinguished the fire. He said that the deceased were suffocated to death.

The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for autopsy.
