Four people killed, five injured in Faisalabad roof collapse

FAISALABAD (92 News) – Four people were killed and five injured after the roof of an under construction house collapsed in Faisalabad on Monday.

According to the reports, the house was located on Sargodha road.

Rescue teams have reached the site. They took out the bodies of two women and two children from under the debris.

The area has been cordoned off and work to clear debris is underway.

Earlier, at least five killed and three injured when roof of a house collapsed in Lodhran. Children were watching TV in a room of the under construction house when the roof collapsed.

Five minors who got trapped in the rubble died while three others were injured and shifted to hospital for medical treatment.

According to rescue sources, the accident took place when the equipment of the under-construction adjoining house was placed on the old roof. The bodies of the deceased children were handed over to their heirs after necessary procedures.
