Four policemen martyred, four injured in Lakki Marwat terror attack

PESHAWAR (92 News) - Four policemen were martyred and four were injured in an attack by terrorists on Burgi Police Station in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Terrorists once again targeted the police in Lakki Marwat. Firing was done and hand grenades were thrown at Burgi police station. According to the police, rockets were also fired at the police station. As a result of this attack, 4 police personnel were martyred and 4 were injured.

The martyred include Muharr Head Constable Ibrahim, Constable Imran, Elite Force Constable Khairur Rehman and Constable Sabz Ali, while the injured policemen include PASI Gul Khan, Constable Balqiyaz, Constable Amir Nawaz and Constable Farmanullah. After the incident, the accused managed to escape.

Later, the police team reached there and the bodies of the martyrs and the injured were shifted to the hospital. This is the third attack in Lucky Marwat.

A heavy contingent of police and security forces surrounded the area and started a search operation. Last month too, six police personnel were martyred in the limits of Dadiwala police station.
