ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Adviser to Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar said that the four-week bail of former premier, who is in London for medical treatment, has expired. Talking to the media on Monday, he said that only a certificate was sent to the Punjab government which does not carry a report. He said that they had sought more explanation, but no reply was given to them. Shahzad Akbar said that the IHC had granted Nawaz Sharif the bail. “There is nothing in the reports sent by Nawaz Sharif.” He said that the government would adopt the strategy after Nawaz would give the reply to the medical board. “The accountability process is not slow. There is an improvement in the recovery of the NAB,” he said. The adviser said that the NAB laws are being improved and efforts are being made to get them approved from the parliament. “The NAB ordinance has not been withdrawn, but it is present. The NAB Ordinance is for four months and later it would be extended,” he said. Later addressing a ceremony, Shahzad Akbar said that he was ready to resolve the problems of journalists. “I do not want to indulge in confrontation with journalists. We need opinion of journalists in the new regulations. On the other hand, Dr Adnan tweeted that Nawaz Sharif would be hospitalized in a few days. “Cardiac catheterization will be performed to treat the complex coronary arteries blockages,” he said. https://twitter.com/Dr_Khan/status/1221722360841166848?s=20
