Four-year-girl murdered after rape: Three suspects arrested in Khanewal

KHANEWAL (92 News) – Police on Sunday arrested three suspects in the alleged rape and murder case of a four-year-old child Zeba in Khanewal.

According to the reports, After highlighting the issue, the top guns of the department ordered strict action not only against the suspects but also the police officers who delayed registration of the FIR in the case. The police have arrested three suspects in the rape and murder case of four-year-old Zeba.

Earlier on Saturday, relative of a four-year-old girl, who was murdered after rape, staged a demonstration and blocked Karachi Road. The violent protesters also stopped Sir Syed Express after blocking the railway line.

The girl had gone missing four days ago, but the police took no action. IGP Punjab Inam Ghani has suspended the SHO for a delay in registration of the case.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and directed strict legal action against the responsible people.

On the other hand, Multan RPO Khurram Ali Shah visited the house of the victim family and assured them of justice. He said that a case would be arrested against the policemen for their negligence.
