Free, fair elections to help further strengthen democracy in country, says Aviation Minister

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan has said that the passage of electoral reforms bill by the joint sitting of the parliament is a triumph of whole Pakistan.

Talking to the media persons in Rawalpindi on Saturday, he said free, fair and transparent elections will help further strengthen democracy in the country.

Expressing regret over posture of the opposition parties regarding the legislation, Ghulam Sarwar said the government repeatedly invited the opposition parties to come forward and give their suggestions on the matter.
