Free medicines will be provided in all hospitals of Punjab from July 1: Hamza Shehbaz

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz has said that free medicines will be provided to the people in all hospitals of Punjab from July 1.

Addressing the Punjab Assembly session on Friday, he said that the government will dedicate all facilities to the poor man. "We will give the poor after taking money from the rich. The health card was a project of the PML-N and it was a good project," he maintained.

The chief minister said that those claiming to change the lives of the people and pay off the loans had caused the severe financial crisis. "The former rulers had made the life of the people a hell," he added.

The chief minister announced to restore the cameras of the Safe City soon. "The government is constructing 18,000 kilometers roads to provide a net of roads for farmers. We will interest-free loan to farmers," he maintained.

He said that the government had allocated 35 percent budget for South Punjab. "We are paying special attention to Cholistan where animals are dying for shortage of water," he added.
