Freedom of expression cannot be suppressed in democracy, says Omar Ayub

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub Khan has said that freedom of expression cannot be suppressed in democracy.

Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that they are standing behind their leader for the supremacy of law and constitution.

He said that each person belonging to the PTI was a patriot. “PTI leaders Aliya Hamza and Sanam Javed should be released immediately on the court orders,” he demanded.

PTI leader Shibli Faraz said that the Hamoodur Rehman Commission report was made public after 50 years and the people became acquaintance with it afterwards. “Awareness becomes a source of the progress of the nations. The PTI does not want the repetition of mistakes and suffering of loss,” he added.
