Fresh spell of rain, snow hits country

LAHORE (92 News) – A fresh spell of rain and snowfall has hit various parts of the country. Light and heavy rain was observed in Karachi while rain continues in various cities, including Quetta Pishin, Chaman and Ziarat. The rain has intensified the cold, making the weather more pleasant. According to met office, the rain spell is expected to continue in plain areas for two days. Snowfall was also observed in northern areas including Quetta, Noshki, Abbotabad, Mansehra, Chitral, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. A new process of rain and snowfall has also begun in Shangla with people bound at home, disrupting the routine life. The rain also caused land sliding due to which Shahrah-e-Karakoram has been closed for traffic.
