Full dress rehearsal of Pakistan Day parade held

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The full dress rehearsal of Pakistan Day parade was held at Shakarparian Parade Ground in Islamabad on Tuesday (today).

Foot columns of Army, Navy, Pakistan Air Force, Frontier Corps, Northern Light Infantry, Mujahid Force and other services participated the event, while scores of fighter aircraft of PAF, Pakistan Navy and helicopters of Army Aviation also rehearsed fly-past for the final day.

Strict security measures have been taken in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi to avoid any untoward incident.

Mobile phone service suspended in different parts of Islamabad and Rawalpindi in connection with Full Dress Rehearsal has now been restored.

On the other hand, Islamabad Traffic Police has chalked out traffic plan on the occasion of full dress rehearsal of Pakistan Day parade in Islamabad today.

According to the traffic plan, heavy traffic will not be allowed to enter in Islamabad till 2.00 pm today and Faizabad Interchange will also be closed from 5.00 am to 2.00 pm.

However, the traffic will continue for Bhara Kau and Murree through Kashmir Chowk.
