Funeral for martyred constable held in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – Funeral for the martyred constable was held at Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh, Lahore on Wednesday.

A large number of people, Additional IGP Ghulam Muhammad Dogar, DG Rangers Maj Gen Amir Majeed, DIG Investigations Shariq Jamal and Lahore DIG Operations Sajid Kayani, attended the funeral.

Constable Muhammad Imran, a resident of Batapur, was martyred by violent protesters at Karol Ghati. He is survived by a widow, two sons and a daughter.

Lahore CCPO Ghulam Muhammad Dogar and other officers expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family. "The police have always sacrificed their lives for the solidarity of the nation and the country," he said.
