Legendary comedian Umar Sharif laid to rest amid sobs in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – Legend comedian and actor Umar Sharif was laid to rest amid sobs on the premises of the shrine of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi on Wednesday.

Renowned religious scholar Maulana Bashir Farooqi led the funeral prayers. A large number of people, including politicians and showbiz and social figures, attended the funeral at Umar Sharif Park, Clifton Block II.

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani, PSP leaders Mustafa Kamal and Anees Qaimkhani were also present.
