Mother of Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif buried beside husband in Jati Umrah

Mufti Dr Raghab Hussain led the funeral prayers. She will be buried beside her husband Mian Sharif.

A large number of PML-N workers and leaders were present in Jati Umrah to attend her funeral. Later, she was buried beside her husband in Jati Umrah.

Earlier, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif received the body of his mother on arrival in Lahore from London. Begum Shamim Akhtar had died in London on November 22.

PDM chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman visited Jati Umrah and offered his condolences over the death of Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif.
